The sweetness of the corn in this Salpicon melds perfectly with the spiciness of the jalapeños in this amazingly tasty concoction. This dish may sound complicated but it is quite simple to prepare. We've chosen a premium, farm-raised jumbo white shrimp which has a milder flavor with notes of natural sweetness due to being raised in waters containing less salinity. These substantial beauties have already been peeled and deveined but the tail has been left on for ease of handling while coating them and again when easing them into the hot oil to cook. Lobster soup is an ingredient in the Salpicón and we have included a great deal more than the recipe calls for. This was done purposely as a bonus. We’ve included an additional recipe card with this kit for you to create a luxurious Lobster Bisque you could use as a fabulous appetizer / starter should you choose to partake.

BBQ Spice Rub, White Fine Ground Cornmeal, Kosher Salt Flakes, Sweet Corn, Chopped Onions, Diced Jalapeno Chiles, Diced Red Bell Pepper, Scallions, Minced Garlic, Dark Brown Sugar, Lobster Soup, Chicken Broth.
